Open Mic we were at the open mic in HaMehoga st. in this sunday, it was great. Respect for Lokach & OTG Ortega for that. We are currently working on another show, we hope to inform soon about a place and a time.

About us
51% is a super group of rappers and producers that started working together during 2005 . They joined forces while working nights at J.C.M studios on separate projects. 51% includes the Israeli Che, Taboo+, Jozeph, Shai Fishman & the Archive (the two Avi's). After a year of intense work, the album was done. The band itself creates everything that is centered around the project - music, graphics, clips, shows and publicity. In 51% everyone does what they do best and that's the cornerstone that leads us forward. Until now we've put out an album and 2 singles from it. The album includes 14 tracks you can hear and 2 clips you can see right here on this site. We are currently working on our secound album and thing are in progress..
Our manifest is "music should be free" that's the reason we give the album free in our shows. We believe that giving the album for free gives us a larger crowd as well as a more intense relationship with the crowd. In order to keep close with our audience, we also release songs on the internet every couple of months.
Jozeph – Super qualify producer that mainly produces this album. Right now he is also working with other new rappers and produces super beats. He and Che are working as a group on Che's upcoming album. Jozeph finished sound school at Yoav Gera. Jozeph is the sane voice that calms us when it's hard. Che – This is the Israeli Che who already put out a single called "you won't but me with money" produced by Jozeph. He is now working on a new solo album. Che is the revolutionist of the project, he always has the ideas that blows our heads (unfortunately his ideas cost a lot of money). Che's MySpace.
Taboo+ - Taboo is first of all a multi-talented artist in everything he does. His realm contains writing lyrics, making beats, designing graphics, creating videos and dates. Taboo has an album "life makes people hard, wanna feel?" released urly 2001, and another called "Strings" released in 2008. Taboo have a 1st degree from HIT Holon - Design & Comunication. you can find more about him in his site (www.tabooplus.co.il).
Big Avi (the archive) – Avi is the different rapper, with a voice that everyone can notice, when he whispers you can feel the distortion, and when he screams into the mic, you know!? Avi is currently studying sociology at Tel Aviv University (3rd Year). Avi is also the business man who gives us the good advice to move on with. Once in a while he produces a track that Jozeph blows later on.
Small Avi (The Archive) – Avi is the hyperactive lunitac who pours his energy wherever he can. Right now is a 3rd year design student at HIT. He is the one that takes care of all the web issues in the project (site, myspaces, blogs and more). The Archive's MySpace.
Shai Fishman – Our man abroad. He is the godfather of this project. Shai is the musical master who is now working at Houston, making movies for Nasa. To start writing everything Shai did will be impossible, so let's just say he has a book with recommendations and stuff he did.
